Where do you hold your tension, is it around your eyes or in your upper back? Today’s blog post is about why you get restricted and tight in your shoulders. Our upper traps connect our shoulders to our neck, and when we are stressed one of our most common responses is to hike our shoulders up.
Do this quickly! Squeeze your shoulders up to you ears and hold for a second then let them drop. It is likely that your shoulders dropped about an inch to where they were previously. Today’s relaxation exercise is about your upper traps, give this a go and relax.
