Today I want to move away from direct movements and stretches for the sole of your foot and talk about the structures that can have an affect on the tissue. Namely your Achilles tendon and the muscles up the back of you lower leg (Calf muscles). This is an exercise group that helps improve Achilles mobilisation, it also has the benefit of relieving the bottom of your foot, mobilising the ankle and helping increase the movement available at your toes.

Try this for 5-6 reps in each direction. Pay attention in video where the towel is placed and how it lifts your toes of the ground. Take your time with this one and remember to breathe throughout.
