So why is your plantar fascia sore? A lot of the time, it is because it is working too hard to stabilise the arch in your foot. So as part of the healing of Plantar Fascia pain, we need the muscles in your foot to take up the slack. Both the Superficial and deep muscles of the foot are incredibly important for stabilising your arch and taking pressure away from the plantar fascia.

So today I want to show you a very quick exercise you can do anytime to help increase the strength of the muscles of your foot.  Try reps of 6-8 reps with a 3 second pause in the middle. Watch the video and you see.
