Ever stood up after sitting at your desk all morning, only to feel like you need a yoga class to get you through the afternoon? You’re not alone! By sitting all you body weight compresses your lower back. It is because of this it is important to do some basic exercises to keep your back moving. Chair rotations and side-bending movements are simple and will get some blood flowing to the low back.

Use your swivel chair your advantage by rotating the low half of your body one way and the top half the other your are increasing movement in your spine. Side bending exercise involve dropping you arms to your side and rocking side to side to touch near the ground….watch the video for a demonstration of these exercises and give them a go for sets of 10-15 once an hour.
