Low back pain is very common and is often experience while walking and running. This pain can limit your mobility and make it difficult to continue regular exercise, and even walking to and from work.
It is often the case with individuals experiencing low back pain that there is tightness in the muscles around the low back and hips, and that stretching these muscles can relieve the symptoms. Try stretching your gluteal muscles, while seated or lying down, by hugging your knee towards your opposite shoulder. When you feel a stretch around the back of your hip, hold for 30-60 seconds, and repeat for the other leg.
