How much time do you spend sitting? At the desk at work, in the car, or on the couch at night? If you add up the hours from sitting to standing you can find that we are sitting majority of our day and that this can lead to many postural issues with one being reduced hip mobility and muscles to shorten and overwork.

Lack of hip mobility means when you are up and moving the body has to find a different way to move, leading to more pressure on other areas such as the low back or knees or even the shoulders with how the mechanics of the body works.

Have no fear, there are some simple ways we can help to increase our hip mobility and help reduce tension around the hips and improve our everyday activities.
