We previously spoke about a mobilisation for thee plantar fascia, today I want to talk about something that is quite simple but often gets overlooked. That is the movement in your big toe, if the big toe isn’t moving, the plantar fascia isn’t stretching, and it isn’t dealing with the load you are putting through it.
Today’s video is to show you how to effectively mobilise your big to, to create greater movement available and more elasticity in your plantar fascia. Why the big toe you ask? Well the big toe is the last thing to contact the ground when we take a step, meaning if it is restricted, we must find that movement somewhere else. Give these exercises a go!
