One of the common issues we see in the clinic is Plantar Fascia pain or pain at the sole of your foot. This can often be felt as pain around the heel, like a stabbing or sharp pain, whilst weight bearing. This is due to inflammation or an inflammatory response in the tissues that support the arch of your foot.
So what can you do? Over the coming days we will be providing you with some strategies to help alleviate your plantar fascia pain. Initially we want you to do some exercises to lengthen the tissues under your foot. This exercise with reduce the resting tension in the bottom of your foot and help relieve some of you pain. Try 2 sets of 7-8 twice a day.
