Today we are going to discuss knee pain, as it’s very common in modern day life. And quite often knee pain is a result of our own actions, or more to the point, inactions.
Have you ever been sitting at a desk or on the couch for 15 minutes or longer, and as you get up feel knee pain in or around the joint, or on the outside of your knee? Your hip is probably tight, pulling on your kneecap.
Try a stretch for your hip, and thus the muscles down the outside of your thigh. In a seated position, or lying on your back, bring your right ankle up onto the left thigh, near the kneecap. Push your right knee away with your hands and feel a stretch in your right hip; hold for 30-60 seconds taking deep breaths, then swap sides.
